Snyder County Arts Council Members will be selling their work at Selinsgrove’s Late Shopper’s Night on Tuesday, December 1st.
A tradition for many years, Late Shopper’s Night is a wonderful way to begin the holiday shopping season. This year, downtown shops, businesses and restaurants will be open and hosting artists and writers of the Snyder County Arts Council.
There will be book signings by Marsha Hubler, author of the Keystone Stables Series and Carole Hamm, author of Springtime of the Soul at Sara-Kate Interiors.
The Sewing Shanty will have a collection of fashions as well as quilted items designed by Debbie Andretta and Dena Praul Gentner.
The Villager Real Estate will host photographer Michael Dreese and jewelry designer Cristi Beeler. Local author, Mariam Pineno, will be introducing two new children’s books, A Box of Bears and It Doesn’t Grow on Trees.
Emma’s Food for Life Restaurant will be sponsoring Kristy Hain, jewelry designer as well as the Shade Mountain Winery.
At the Stereo Shop, there will be book signings by two area authors. Jim Campbell will have his collection of books including Around Selinsgrove. J. LeroyE will introduce his new book, Foxes Outfoxed. Artist, Marlin E. Keister, will have a collection of paintings.
The Sharon Cressinger Art Gallery located in the McCuen Law Offices will have her collection of watercolors.
A Dustin Kline Salon will sponsor photographer, Jessica Roseberry Moyer, Ruth Lundberg, portrait artist and well-known potter, Mary Ellen Yearick. Kay S. Hooper, a certified Alexander Technique Teacher will be presenting her book, Sensory Tune-Up.
Eclectika Gift Shop will feature Saray Designs, an exclusive jewelry collection fashioned by the owner. Area artist, Jeffery Martin, will have a showing of his work. Gwen Pierce-Jones, handbag designer, will have her work for sale and introduce her new Flower Fables book.
At The Kind Café, Polly Savage, writer of the Red Hat Mystery Books, will have a signing of her book, Murder Wears a Red Hat. The Sunbury YMCA will have a showing of art by students throughout the month.
At The Ship Zone, artist Kristine Umstead, will have a showing of her work. Roberta Garlock will be showing her exquisite beaded bags. Dr. Robert Weber, a writer and publisher, will have gift books designed in the Roycroft Style with unusual early printing methods and soft suede leather covers.
At the Selinsgrove Sub and Deli, Patty Brandt and Lynn McCann have a collection of paintings and photographs for sale.
